Roadtrip Day 12: Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah (Day 2)
The first day we did the Queens Garden/Peek-A-Boo loop trail, so today we decided to hike around the less popular side, the Fairyland Loop trail.
I might have a thing for dead trees...
The layers are pretty amazing.
Taking a break!
Hiking out, someone told us we should hike the Navajo Trail to see the famous tree. It was definitely the most crowded trail, but also the shortest. This tree was probably the hardest thing I've ever tried to photograph just because of the enormity of it as well as the bright sky contrasted with the dark canyon.
Alas, I gave in and bought some hoodoo beer. When in hoodoo-land, you gotta drink hoodoo beer!
I definitely plan on returning to this place. I think it would be especially beautiful in the winter time with snow on the ground. Hopefully I shall return soon!
