Roadtrip Day 11: Zion National Park, Utah - Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah
So, admittedly, I left my notebook with all my notes at home (I am writing this from across the world), so I'll see what I can remember.
Saw this cute little guy leaving Zion National Park... he was kind enough to pose for a picture.
One of the first views of Bryce Canyon National Park. This place is absolutely incredible. It is made up of endless hoodoos, columns of weathered rock.
We decided to hike the Queens Garden/Peek-A-Boo Loops the afternoon we arrived, an approximately 5.5 mile figure 8 hike through the more popular of the two amphitheaters in Bryce Canyon.
Standing above the canyon wall, you don't realize how big some of the hoodoos are. When you get to hiking down below, the beauty gets even better.
Had to get our picture with our awesome sunglasses and tan lines. Oh, and the hoodoos.
Shot from Powell Point.
We decided to hike down a ways at night to attempt some night photography. The picture below was a 10 minute exposure.
This place is amazing. How God could create such a vast diversity of amazing sights is beyond me.
