I have a passion for traveling and love to take photographs everywhere I go. Overseas, I have traveled to and photographed in places such as China, Ghana, Morocco, Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, Romania, and many more. I especially enjoy landscape photography and love the wide angle a panorama can bring to the viewer. I also enjoy urban photography and portraits of people when traveling, and am a firm believer that interacting with people is the only way a person can truly learn about different cultures and ways of life.
My interest in photography developed around the age of 15, starting out with black and white film photography and developing images myself in a dark room. It wasn't long, however, before I entered the digital world, initially with a Canon Digital Rebel, a Canon 30D, and ultimately my current camera, the Canon 5D Mark III.
I grew up in Napa, California before going to college in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Since graduating with degrees in Aeronautical Engineering, Spanish, and Theological Studies, I have lived in Colorado, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and currently reside in Tacoma, Washington. I work full time but try to go on as many adventures as I can on the weekends. I don't believe much in sleep or television, but I am a firm believer in God and people.
